New Mobile Router from Kyocera

The KR2 Mobile Router was released by Kyocera Wireless last October 19, 2007. This new router enables multiple users to share a high-speed internet connection with rates up to 3.1 Mbps and create a Wi-FiĀ® Hotspot with multiple EVDO devices. PLus users can easily migrate to future EV-DO releases and upgradeable firmware.

It supports PCMCIA, Express card, or USB connection (phone or modem) and offers four Ethernet LAN ports to connect non-Wi-Fi-enabled devices. KR2 can be used as a conventional router with wireless EV-DO as a backup along with fail-over capabilities.

For security purposes, it Wi-Fi protected so it prevents unauthorized devices from connecting when pairing with another Wi-Fi device.
