The leading wireless company has expanded its network in Jersey City by putting up two new cell sites.

Verizon Wireless, the most reliable voice and data network, invested billions to enhance its area network in the past seven years.

The new cell sites will serve areas along Garfield Avenue and State Highway 1. This will improve their data and mobile entertainment services to the said areas. According to Charles Hand, President of the Company’s New York Region, “Reliable networks are not built overnight.” Verizon is the largest American wireless company and largest wireless data provider, based on revenues.

As of July 2007, the company served a total of 62.1 million U.S. subscribers and has the
largest service by area and had an annual revenue of $39.0 billion. Verizon Wireless now serves more than 62.1 million customers nationwide and New Jersey customers are among the most demanding and tech savvy in the United States.

Verizon Wireless will continue to efficiently invest in network enhancements to deliver the reliable and innovative services customers want.

U720 out of market?

Thursday, August 9th, 2007

There are rumors lately that U720 would have its end of life on July 23rd. How true is this?

People were trying to buy U720 on Sprint stores and even online but they were told that U720
would reach its EOL on July 23. Sprint employees’ claim on the EOL of U720 is quite odd because
Sprint has raised the price of this PC Card to about 30%. Isn’t that odd?
What I know is when something reaches its EOL its price should drop to some point so customers would flock
and take the item out of the inventory.
With all these rumurs and speculations I think its just another marketing strategy whatever.
Well because of the increased price I think U720 is not totally out of market. So for those
who still want to grab one of those pc cards, maybe its not yet too late!
